Theodor Leutwein
Theodor Leutwein was the colonial administrator of German Southwest Africa from 1894 to 1904. He Controlled the Native Africans which is called "Leutwein system." It shows about the diplomacy and military coercion. He controlled the people of Namibia and criticized them. In 1904, the Herero the beginning of the end of his colonial leadership.
Herero people
Many people who lived in Namibia, especially Herero and Genocide people, suffered. Genocide people fought against Germans in the late 18th and in the early 19th century. They were innocent people, however they were killed by the Germans, because Germany colonized Namibia and they did not follow German's rules. Even though they had a rights to change or abolish their government, they could not do anything with that.
Samuel Maharero
Samuel Maharero was a Paramount Chief of the Herero people in German South-West Africa during their revolts and in connection with the events surrounding the Herero genocide. Namibia people think that he is a hero of Namibia as he fought against Germany and he was a brave man. If he did not work for his country, Namibia, they might be under controlled even in these days. He is really important person.
